Right-Click Inoperable

When in Outlook 2002, running on XP Pro, using Exchange
2003 as mailserver, in any Outlook folder... right click
on the mouse produces ABSOLUTELY nothing. I have a number
of XP Pro machines up and some can use the right click and
others cannot. These machines were all cloned with Office
already on them since we have a vlk so they are all
configured identically unless somebody changed something.
Can anybody think of anything that would cause a right
click to stop working... by the way, right click still
works everywhere else... just not in Outlook folders.

Need help badly on this... Need to be able to view
internet headers prior to opening e-mails... without
rightclick ability... you have to OPEN the e-mail before
you can look at the headers.

Just in case anyone else encounters this... I found the
answer, but it took a while. Problem workstations were
cloned from a master machine. Master profile was copied
over new user's profile. Something in this process
disables the right click in Outlook folders. Ultimate
solution can be two things... recreate the user and
reconfigure their software or... and this is much faster
obviously, search for the four cache files Outlook loads
at startup. Outcmd.dat extend.dat frmcache.dat and
views.dat (you may not have all of these). Be sure when
you search that you specify search hidden files and
folders under "more advanced options" in search. Once
found... rename each with an extension of "old".

The problem disappears. My compliments to Microsoft's
tech support on this one. I opened an online incident and
received some excellent suggestions from my tech and the
problem is now solved.

My bet's on Outcmd.dat. Thanks for sharing the solution.
