right-click doesn't work on an email

Hello there

I'm having a problem with Outlook2000

Basically,I'm trying to right-click on an email but
nothing happens yet,when I click right click anywhere
else,it's fine.

Can anyone help
 
If, by 'right click' you mean you're trying to edit, cut, paste, etc the text in the body of the email, Outlook won't let you do that to someone else's message, or even your own, once it has been sent/received, but an easy way around it is to pretend you're going to forward the message to someone. If you click the forward this message option, a whole new email opens up, with your original message in the text box. Now you can edit (right click) to your heart's content.

Hmmm. Derek, If my answer was off base, forgive me. I think maybe your answer is actually given in another thread.
See Patrick K Howard's reply of 12/18/03 about deleting the FRMCACHE.DAT file.

What I'm trying to do is "right-click" and send an email to the "junk E-Mail" folder,but nothing happens

Are you right-clicking on the inbox subject list or in the preview pane (if
you have it open)?

I'm pretty much out of my league, then. Were I you, had I not done a Repair
install, I'd do it now. Sorry I couldn't solve your problem.
