right click doesn't seem to work

just recently.. I tried to right click tools in Word.. and it flashes like i
the window is going to open.. but it doesn't... any help appreciate.. thanks

Before you run out and buy a new mouse....have you tried rebooting?

Yes I have rebooted several times since this first happened.. you think it's
the mouse? Rainy

Hi Rainy.

Maybe it would be better if you provide info about what kind of mouse you
are using (wired, wireless), the manufactor and if you have tried to update
the drivers recently. Do you have a PS/2 compatible mouse? You can try to
remove it from Device Manager and re-booting, the drivers will be
re-installed.

Hi Gunilla.. thanks for the response.. I used to have a Microsoft
intellimouse an optical one.. but I did something to it.. and I am now
using a generic ps2 mouse.. I will try your suggestion.. and get back to
