This is a three months old laptop, that i reinstalled Windows XP on a week
ago because of another problem. Now, I instead got this problem, i cannot
use the left and right arrow buttons on the keyboard. Up and Down work, but
not left and right. What's make it even more strange is that it works in the
logon screen (CRTL+ALT+DEL), but not once i've logged on. Any suggestions
what this could be? I've reinstalled the driver for the keyboard, and that
did not work. An external keyboard works fine, but i can't have one
connected to the laptop all the time...

Looks like the Right Arrow button do the same as PG DN, and the Left Arrow
button do nothing. This only happens when i logon with my username. If i for
example logon as administrator, it works as it should.

Could there be any setting that can do this? I can't find anything, but i'm
maybe missing something. All suggestions are welcome, i really do not want
to create another profile, and change all settings again...

Ok,

This is strange. I searched the WindowsXP.* newsgroups, and found someone
with a similar problem. They mentioned Num Look, so i thought, hey, why not
try. Enabled Num Look, which by some reason did not become enabled. But, on
the other hand, my keyboard seems to work as it should.

Don't ask me what happened, but i'm happy...for now at least :-)

And once again these newsgroups rules! Searched on google for a few hours,
then tried here, and got this solved within 30 seconds! Great!

Hope my message helps someone else with the same problem in the future! Now,
if someone could explain this... :-)
