My index page is acting weird. When I go to
http://www.website.com/index.htm, no problem. But, for the last week or so,
when I go to http://www.website.com, it is redirected to
http://www.website.com/somethingelse.htm. I think a weird line of code snuck
into my index.htm file. How do I find it and delete it?

Review the source code. You can always connect to your website and
re-publish your page that is having problems.

If you think your website has been compromised, you should also change all
your passwords and notify your webhosting provider.
