Hi to you both!
Ricky, I saw your post and I can't even get the pc
to boot from a CD. I went into BIOS and looked at the
selections made for boot methods which were all ticked
off, but when I save the settings, the main page of BIOS
shows <enter>. Shouldn't that display something like
floppy or such?
As for the info you gave me to create the floppy
from another PC (to see if THAT'S going to work)for the
one that died on me, it's a little much for me. I have no
idea where to find on the pc all that info. Is there some
sort of wizard to create a boot floppy for the non-pc
friendly people, like me?
The crapped out pc is still not letting me into
accounts so there's nothing I can do until I can get into
it. I can get to both settings and BIOS, but I wonder
about the <enter> issues. Are those supposed to be there?
I know it's a pain in the rear to try and help me,
but I do appreciate anything you give me.
Thanks in advance, and the pie offer is still there,
lol.
