What is the different between Rich Text & HTML format ?

In OutLook Express, it gives as an option (under Format menu) "Rich text
(HTML)". It looks to me they are the same thing.
However, in Outlook2002, it gives option either "Rich text" OR "HTML", it is
different format.
Any idea ?

Also, In my case, some recipient receive truncated email if the sender using
HTML but can receive the whole email using Rich Text. Any idea ??

Thanks in advance.

Rich text is where you can change your font style i.e. size, color, font
face, etc.

HTML actually allows you to use HTML code in your email which means that you
can make your emails look like websites.

Hope this helps,
J.R.
