Rhapsody and Vista

I find it funny that the only way to use Rhapsody in Vista is to access the
rhapsody.com website using Firefox. The regular client doesn't seem to work
nor does the Internet Explorer 7 interface. Note: It even works with
Firefox on Linux.

You have to get the new version, Rhapsody 4.0. It works in Vista. Try doing
a new download of the software from Rhapsody, that should give you the new
version.

Redownloaded, it was the same 4.0 version I had downloaded last week.. Note:
I'm running x64.

It installs up to the point where it tries to download the DRM software, and
that fails.

Works fine, again, in Firefox in Vista 64-bit and on Linux.

Sorry, I didn't realize you were using 64 bit. Rhapsody 4.0 was the first
version to work on 32 bit Vista. I'm using it now (on 32 bit) and it's
working fine. I can't provide any input on 64 bit.

Interestingly though, the 32 bit installs before version 4.0 all failed at
the same point you noted in your post.

I'm noticing from Task Manager that Firefox is "Firefox *32" (which I
believe means it's running 32-bit mode).

That's probably why Rhapsody is working there.
