Hi Paul G. Tobe

I have tried your RFUTILS with great sucess!!!. Thx a lot for your code. I ran into one little problem though. When i search for Access points, they always seem to return the same value of signal strenght. I tried using PocketWINc from cirond. If i run this program in the background, the ssid list and signal strenght gets updated. I seems somehow, that this program somehow tells the netcard to update its list of SSID and Signal strenght.

Can you help me on this matter

Regards Mikkel

I'll take a look at it, when I get a chance. What signal strength does it
indicate?

Hi again.

I am a friend of Mikkel Andreasen, we are doing a project together, but he
is on vacation, so i am the code master now :)

I tried running your code on my PDA Pocket PC 2003. I still does not seem to
update the signal strenght on the currently available access points. When i
run it, i can see 2 access points with signal strenght -11 and -41. However
as i move away from them, the signal strenght indicate the same values. The
PDA should logically read a weaker signal strength from both acces points.
It only does that, if i have a program running in the background that
somehow updates the netcard on the PDA.

What could be wrong?

Regards
Anders Fredborg

Here's an update to the RFUtils/RFUtilsTest pair. It clears the cache SSI
information from the adapter's driver before returning the list of SSI
values

So, you're doing what with the library to try to update the values? I mean,
it's not somehow automatically linked to your display. You're doing a
Refresh List... in the sample program or what?
