Hi!

I'm currently using an external RF-modulator to get sound&audio from my
PC out as RF signal.

I was just wondering, if there are any combined sound/audio cards on the
market with built-in RF-modulator?

In case your wondering why the external solution isn't ok, the reason is
simple: I'd like to get rid of all external devices and cables (the
current modulator requires audio-L, audio-R, s-video [,+ RF from
antenna]). Too messy :-)

TIA, JL

RF sounds horrible in the low-power range allowed for
consumer devices. I hope you don't care whether it sounds
good. I'm not aware of anything like you want, as most
people are not caring about this at all, and further,
there's a big obstacle involved- that you can't have the
antenna inside the metal system case, so essentially even if
you don't want wires, you still have to have one extending
away from the system even for mediocre results.

IIRC, there are now wireless bluetooth and proprietary
USB-linked speakers that have their own internal DAC (and of
course still need plugged into a wall via adapter,
themselves) but I don't recall the make or models, and
they're bound to be significantly more expensive for any
reasonable quality.
