Hi Out there.

pc ???
I get an error in the dos promt : (Translated from
Danish :)"Format can not be runed, because the unit is
used by another proces. Format can be run if the unit is
decoubled fist".
But the problem is that I don't have enny programs og

Please Help - Thanks !

Boot from your Windows 2000 CD and go through setup until you get to the
disk partitioning section. At this point, remove the existing partition.

If you just want to reinstall the OS, just create a new partition and
continue through setup. If you want to install a different OS, you can
reboot the PC after deleting the partitions and you should then be able to
create new partitions as required.

Hmmm. If you have a friend who has a Windws NT, 2000 or XP CD, you could
borrow that for the purposes of removing the partitions and then install
your own copy of Windows 95.

Other than that, there are some HDD zapping utilities around. I can't vouch
for this particular one as I haven't used it, but searching Google seemed to
indicate that others had used it successfully.

It does seem a shame to be running Windows 95 on a machine capable of
running Windows 2000, but as you've probably discovered, buying Windows 2000
or XP at retail is not cheap.

Hope this helps
