I'm currently revising for my exams that I get in 2 weeks time. Does anyone know of some good revision techniques that I could use?

Well I used to play pool all night for beer, which I drank and got totally pissed on, and then revised for half an hour before the exams. That method ensured that I got a first in the maths, stats and computing elements of my first degree in economics at Manchester Poly (as it used to be called). ..clearly I am not the man to ask about this.

A hidden two-way wireless intercom system to relay and recive the answers.

Different strokes for different folks, really.

I'd suggest not overdoing it, there reaches a point where you've read so much your brain hits overload and nothing is taken in.

If you can, get hold of copies of the last two or three exams and see how you cope with the questions without referencing anything.

Myself, I used to cram in the few days leading up to the exam, then cross my fingers. It usually worked :)

The one time I got seriously bladdered the night before, I failed, brain was a blank when I turned over the question paper :(

Conversely, a full night of rumpy pumpy the night before I took an exam I expected to fail - I passed. Beats me  (that was in Newcastle, btw).

...if you could get hold of the CURRENT exam paper prior to the exam, now that would be even more useful:D

After all, it seems to be the way most people in the UK are doing it these days - exam papers are falling out of the back of lorries left, right and centre.

Hmmmmm... :brow: Some interesting ideas there ;)

The old Manchester Poly is just down the road from my halls (I'm guessing its Manchester Met now), well about 2 miles. Ever hear of Owens Park?

Ian, from our replies it looks as though your on you own.

I never had the "pleasure" of taking any Exams. :brow:

Oh, my real name is Richard Branson. 8)

Yup...I've heard of Owens park...I used to be based in East Didsbury (Royal Ford Hall of residence) in my first year...then sharing houses near Main Road.

Oh...that brings back memories!

I do not remember much as I am also same as Mucks, I hate any kind of exams.:D

The only thing I remember is that once when I had to appear for my English paper, instead of studying I went to see "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in the theatre. I passed with flying colors:crazy:
