Its crap... well, its a fine card if you're not planning on playing
games like UT2003 or newer.

Its slower than a 9200Pro ($100)... but costs more ($130) but has no
fan.

Wasn't that the 64-bits memory bus version of the 9600, those are
crap! ya know with the FX5200 the reason why some of the versions
crapped was.. a 64-bits memory bus.

And now ati self allows hardwaremakers to sell cards with the same
utter 64-bits memory bus....

Crap!

How does it stack up next to the 9600 non-pro?

9600SE vs. 9600 is like having a race between a horse and an F1 car
over a 70 mile range straight road!

There is no reason to even doubt who wins....

The 9600SE is so damn crippled, even anandtech ( I belief, not sure, I
read way to much different sites ) was pleasently suprised with the
horrible results the 9600SE had.

Then again, we have seen this before, remember the FX5200 ... grinnz

A 9600 VPU with a crippled memory interface, like an F1 *dragging* a horse.
