Revert HTML to PowerPoint?

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question, but I thought I'd
post here in case someone might have a suggestion. I have a teacher
who posted his PowerPoint presentations on the Web using the "Save as
Web page" option. His hard drive recently crashed and he lost all the
original .ppt files. He asked me if it is possible to revert the Web
presentations back to powerpoint files and I'm thinking he is out of
luck. True?

Thanks,

-Jim

You might be surprised. Happily so.

It's probably simpler if you have all the files on a local PC but even if not,
try this:

Start PPT
Do File Open
Type in the full URL to the html file
Go

Neat, huh?

Yes! It worked like a charm! I find it is a rare treat when technical
inquiries turn out to be EASIER than anticipated. This was one of
those cases.

Thanks to all for your help.
