I have entered over 400 names on my document list, first name first, last
name last.
I need to change it a last name first, first name last. How do I correct
this issue?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Look at Example 1 in http://www.gmayor.com/replace_using_wildcards.htm
(about halfway down the page).

That sort of find/replace works properly only when each listing
contains only two names. It doesn't know how do deal with middle
initials or multi-part names. If you have those, you need to manually
remove the space character between the parts that should stay
together, and replace it with a nonbreaking space
(Ctrl+Shift+spacebar) before running the wildcard replacement.

Fellow MVP Graham Mayor has an example of how to do this using a Wildcard
Replace on the following page of his website:

The others have mentioned Graham's method. I would use Excel to do that. You
can separate the text into two columns and then maintain that list. I've
found an Excel spreadsheet is a better tool for lists like that than Word
is.
