I clicked and installed the lastest update... it said it was a malisious file
checker and remover. It would run once to check for virus and trojans. After
it installed, it now blocks sites that I use on a daily basis by running some
kind of popup blocker and it prevents pdf files from being viewed. I was able
to get rid of the popup banner but now, when the site tries to display a pdf
file, I get this little box that asks if I want to Save the file or Cancel. I
don't want to do either. I just want it to display on screen like it did
before. If I click Cancel, the file doesn't load. If I click the X to close
the box, the file doesn't load. If I click Save, it saves the un-rendered
file to my hard drive and if I try to read it, all I get is ascii characters.
How do I undo or remove this wonderful update??!!?

Hi Larry,

The fastest way to do this, is to use system restore!
Let us know that worked for you.

also which browser are you using?
if firefox there is a small program called PDF downloads that is an
extension in firefox that allows you to open pdf's instead of downloading
them
