While running WS_FTP Pro for the first time, I received the usual warning
that a program on my computer was trying to connect to the internet.

I inadvertently selected the option of never allowing this program to
connect, which is obviously wrong.

How can I reverse this instruction and enable WS_FTP Pro to connect to a
remote site?

Thank you in anticipation of your help.

You'll have to find your firewall's options and edit the "rule" you created
by clicking no when it (your firewall) asked for permission to grant WS_FTP
Internet access.

Since you didn't specify your which firewall you use it's difficult to be
more specific. It's likely accessible from an icon in your Notification Area
(by the clock).

On this computer for instance (running McAfee Security Suite) I would right
click on the McAfee icon in the Notification Area, point to "Personal
Firewall" and click "Internet Applications" where I can adjust the rules for
various applications.

Hi,

The verbiage suggests you are using Zone Alarm? Check in its options for the
