Can someone explain how to set up a reverse lookup zone
under dns? I believe that this will allow e-mails to be
delivered to systems using spam protection.Any thoughts?

Not sure about the spam protection part, but here's the
reverse DNS setup.

- Highlight and then right-click Reverse Lookup Zones in
the DNS MMC. Then, click New Zone....

- Click Next and then select the type of Zone you are
setting up. In most cases, this will be a Active Directory
or Primary Zone. But, reveiew the Help in DNS and/or
Windows for a description of the different types and the
situations where they apply best.

- You pretty much Next your way through the Wizard. The
only other major important part is when you enter the
network ID. Only enter the network ID. If you have a
255.0.0.0 subnet mask, only enter anything more than the
1st octet of the your email server's IP address. (Ex: If
your network ID is 10.0.0.0, only enter 10 and leave the
other spaces blank. If it's 192.168.1.0, only enter
192.168.1 and leave the rest blank. The Wiazrd will fill
them in on the next screen.)

NOTE: Once your Reverse Lookup Zone has been created, you
can either delete it and re-create a new one or change its
type and behavior under its Properties... if you set it up
incorrectly.
