Returning the number where a mark is inserted

Hi,

I have a problem here....which I need you experts help. Unfortunately
it will be messy to write in this text box...so, I attach herewith m
sample workbook for your digestion and explanation. Don't worry, thi
workbook has been scanned for virus.

Please help me to sort this out....

just as a note: Most people won't open attached files (at
least I won't do this). So you may try to post your issue
in plain text. You can also post sample data as plain text

You have a FIND function in G9, that is causing your SUMPRODUCT in F9 to not
work correctly. The formula:
=SUMPRODUCT((G7:AK7)*(G9:AK9))
will do the job if you deleted the FIND formula.

upload the file as attachment coz it would be very messy if I explai
in text format.....and that would probably waste lots of times i
