I've developed a presentation that uses a main menu to branch to many
different topics. This will be used at a kisok in a museum. My problem is;
how do I program the presentation to return to the main menu if the
presentation is dormant for say 2 minutes of more?

I believe powerpoint - when set to 'kiosk mode' in slideshow > setup - will
restart to the 1st slide automatically after 5 minutes.

Unfortunately you cannot choose your own time.

see this add-in for more details

first slide after a period of inactivity

TAJ Simmons,

Thanks! That solved half my problem. When I applied the add-in you
suggested it solved the time problem, but it only lets me transition the
slide show to any slide in that presentation. What I need it to do is end
the presentation when the slide show is dormant on the kiosk for more than 2
minutes.
