Hi all,

I'm using Powerpoint 2000. I'd like to use the action settings to set
up a dynamical show.
I so far accomplished to link slides starting from a central slide. I
view one by one those slides. I have to return to the central slide
every time, so I can enter the link to another slide.
I wondered if it is possible to do so by the action settings.
Do I have to set up a customized slide show?

I'm using win Xp on Office 2000.

Thanks in advance for your quick replies.

Stevie.

You can set an Action Setting on a button (or text or any shape) to link
to a specific slide and copy that button to any slides that you want.
You might check out:

I believe I wrote that for PowerPoint 2000, and it has some brief
tutorials on Hyperlinks and Action Buttons.

If you use an action setting to hyperlink to a custom show, you'll have an
option to "show and return." It sounds to me as if this would be a good
solution for you. So yes, I'd start with setting up a few custom shows.
