Retrieving old accounts..... HELP!!!

I had to reinstall Windows due to a virus and now I can't access any of my old user/admin accounts in the "My Documents" folder. I just get a msg. saying that they're unaccessable and password protected. Help, I need some files from those folders.
If anyone can help, it would be very appreciated.
