retrieving deleted emails

Webmail can not usually be retrieved, as the messages do not reside on your
local system. You might try the admin@ your mail provider, but don't hope
for much.

If the files were on your system such as Outlook or Outlook Express it is
sometimes possible. However you will need third party software such as
Ontrack Easy Recovery (very expensive progam), FileRescue (cheaper) etc.
What you could do is download a trial version of system mechanic, it has a
basic recovery option that is decent, not the best, but decent. The most
important thing is though, have you been saving files to your drive or email
accts, installed programs, or defragged since the deletion. Technically
windows only removes the first part of the file name, not making it visible
to the O/S, but the data is still there ASSUMMING IT HAS NOT BEEN OVER
WRITTEN by another file. If this is the case pretty much forget it, while
there are programs that can recover these files they are 1,000 dollars plus.

Generally the answer is no, but since you haven't told us which E-mail
client you're asking about, it's difficult to be sure.

It really depends on your available cash, the FBI and CIA
can recover almost anything if it has been saved to the hard
drive.

It depends. If you haven't set your reader to delete mail from
the server after it's been read, YES. YOUR deleting the mail
doesn't necessarily mean it's no longer on your ISP's server;
it's probably only gone from your own machine.

If your ISP provides Webmail, you should be able to get in that
way to see it.
If they don't, you could use mail2web.com but you have to give
them your password, so ... change it after you've gotten your
mail.

If you can get to a different computer and use that to get your
mail, that will work, too. Or even use a different reader like
Mozilla or whatever - that would reread every mail still on the
server.
You might even be able to get to it with HyperText, if you
know how to use that.
There are also ways to make your own computer re-read all the
mail on the server, but it's probably too complex for this moment
in time.

It all depends on whether the e-mail is still on the server.
Your reader doesn't see it simply because it's been 'read",
meaning don't show it any more.

IFF it's still on the server, and they're willing, you might be
able to ask them to get it, but that usually doesn't work. They
usually just tell people that when it's gone, it's gone.
