Help!
Somehow (probably user error) all my email has been deleted from my IMAP host. (I was trying to clear out old attachments, things crashed and everything is gone.
The hosts (fasthosts) say it is gone forever.
My laptop then synced with the deleted account and removed the email on that
So I am panicking.
I understood that IMAP doesn't usualy delete email completely but neither I nor the hosts can find them?
Can anyone help?
I thought maybe, my computer here - which is set to download copies locally- might keep a backup automatically - or is that too much to ask? It is 3 months since my last archive - sorry.
