Our network server crashed and had to be reconfigured, however since the
reconfiguration we are unable to view the emails that were on the
workstations before the crash. The email account is on the workstation not
the server. The workstation did not crash.

I am using Outlook 2002

What type of account was Outlook connecting to i.e. an Exchange account,
POP3 or other. when you say reconfigured do you mean rebuilt from new or did
you use a Restore. Did this require that the workstation get "rejoined" to
the Domain network.

I am using a POP3 account. The workstation had to be rejoined to the
network, the workstation were also given new identities

You would need to log on as Administrator and do a search for a pst file,
the pst file is hidden and you will need to turn on Show hidden files and
folders from the View menu of Folder Options in Control Panel, Note if using
Widows XP you will need to configure the search to search hidden files and
folders and this option is located under Advanced Options of Search. To use
the pst file then Open Outlook and from the file menu select open || Data
file (or Personal folder file) and browse to the above file. Note you may
have to move the pst file before opening in Outlook and you may have to go
into the Security properties of the file to allow access to an "ordinary
user".
