I have an old acer aspire 3610 hard drive that has some very important
pictures on it, can someone please advise me as to what I need to get the
pictures off the hard drive.
Im aware that I will need an external hard drive caddy? but Im unsure what
it is and exactly wich one I need.

To get the answer to your questions about what external case you need for
the drive, the drive itself must be identified, by type and interface.
As you say the computer is older, I could *guess* that you have a parallel
ATA (PATA) 3 1/2 drive and tell you to get an external case for that kind of
drive that will allow you to connect it to a USB port (presuming the
computer you intend to connect it to has USB ports).

To make answers you get more than speculation, you need to provide details.
If you can't figure out the details, I suggest you take the drive to a local
computer store, show it to them, and ask them to put it into a case.
