documents?
i'm looking for an old document, bigining of this year... and i can
find it... please help ? :-

There are professional recovery organizations that do that kind of
work...you can expect to pay several hundred bucks, at the very least.

This may be a moot point now, but in the future when you delete something or
empty your Recycle Bin and want to recover something from it... Stop using
the computer now. Your recovery chances are better if the file has not been
overwritten.

This is free.

Restoration Version 2.5.14 Author: Brian Kato
http://www3.telus.net/mikebike/RESTORATION.html

Description
[[Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while
holding down the Shift key by mistake. Conversely, this program has another
function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files. You
can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and
so on.]]

You might want to download this with a friend's machine and save it to a
floppy. Restoration will run fine from a floppy, that's how I run it.

Law enforcement uses specialized software such as Encase to retrieve
old, overwritten data, and it is very expensive. Your best bet is to try
one of the many free file recovery software packages available online.
But considering the age of the document, you would be extremely
fortunate to recover it. (I assume you have already checked the Recycle
bin.)

Purchase the same data recovery tools that forensic labs use.

Alternatively you could use recover my files program, but the chances are
bleek if your file was deleted long before and your machine was used all
along. Because overwritten files can't be recoverd.
