I've just upgraded an old NT4 domain into Windows 2000 and
AD. Everything works as it should.
However, in AD, there still remains an old server from
waaay before my time. It looks like it was hosting another
domain name that hasn't been operative for years.
When I try to delete the server from AD I get the error
message "The DSA object cannot be deleted". I've searched
the Internet and found that I could do a metacleanup (or
something like that).. but this doesn't work since the
server hasn't been active for years. The ntdsutil want to
contact the server, but it can't...
Anybody have some ideas about this?
