I have a template containing a macro menu which, when the template is opened, allows the user to add the macro menu to their toolbar.
The user opens the template, temporarily loads the macro menu onto the toolbar and enters information into a word document and runs various macros from the macro menu to update tables etc. The user gives the document a name and saves it
This works well but if the user closes the word document and then reopens it to add some more information, the macro menu is not available

How can i make the macro menu available

Many thank

Are you setting a customizationcontext when making changes to the toolbars? If yes, what is it?

You do say "temporary"; given that, why would want/expect the toolbars and menus to be available when the documetn is opened later?
