Is there a way to automatically retain the last slide on screen in PPT 2002?
Thanks.

Not sure what you mean. Forever? For a screensaver? As an image? Or just
keep it on screen until you want to close it? What have you tried that
isn't working for you?

As opposed to advancing to a black slide? If that's it, choose Tools,
Options from the menu bar then click the View tab. There, remove the check
next to "End with black slide"

Smart aleck!

Good Question Sonia. I would like to pause automatically after the last
slide, which contains animation and narration, until I close it or jump to
another slide. Thanks again for you help, I have not tried anything else.

If you set your slide transition to Mouse Click, rather than automatically,
then the slide will play the animations and narration and wait for a Mouse
Click. Does that do it, or is the situation more complicated?

That did it! My inexperience with all of the options in PPT 2002 has been
a handicap. Thanks so much. I'm looking at some of your auxiliary
products, your web site is great!
