hi all,

using fp2k, i have setup a form using the forms results
wizard to pull data from an excel database and that works
fine. i am having trouble adding 1 additional field to the
form for customer input and then submitting the retrieved
form data plus the new field to a cgi script for further
processing.

any help greatly appreciated

Hi Rick,

More details are required. Does this process give error messages? What are
they? May we view the page / code at?

there is no error message. my problem is just trying to
figure out how to do it. when i use the form results
wizard, it creates a form at the top of the page with the
search field. then it creates a table below the search
form with the fields i want to return data to. my problem
is how do i add a new field and combine that with the
fields already in the table and then add a submit button
to send the complete data stream to a cgi script.

You can not modify the FP search component.
