Hi,

I'm just starting wio GPOs... I want a GPO for distributing certificates. So
I set up a GPO in the root folder of my organisation.

The funny thing is that some users/computers in my organstion get the right
policy, some not. That seams to be connected to my folders structure. If I
display the RSOP, all folders have the right policy, but some
users/computers in some folders don't. I tried linking every folder to the
GOP, no change. I tried to set "no override", no change. The checkbox "Block
Polity inheritance" is not used..

Any idea?

Thanks,

Thomas

Are all your computers running SP4. I would definatly check that cause I had
some GP issues with machines that did not have SP4 on them.

Hi,

I found the problem myself... The problem was, that the file replication
services wasn't running properly... So the policies were not replicated
between our two sites.... What happend is that because of the missing
profiles one site didn't get the new GPOs applied...

Fixing FRS was the solution...

That was my next suggestion. :)
