RestrictRun key

I would like to restrict the user to run only a few
applications which can be done by using the RestrictRun
key. The user should be able to run different versions of
these apps and the version is embedded in the name.
Is there a way to specify ABC*.exe in the RestrictRun key?
 
Nope. How many unique apps do you have? with a GPO, its
enter each app once, not that difficult... Just put all
the apps they have to run in there.

such that these versions can be installed without updating

Hmm. Does the executable work properly if renamed? ... Maybe retain
the same filename with each update?
