Restrictions on email attachments

I recently upgraded to MS x.p. When using Outlook
Express, OE sometimes restricts my ability to open the
attachment. The message is: "OE removed access to the
following unsafe attachments in your email"

I know that the attachment is safe and don't understand
why OE is restricting or how we can stop this restriction
and view the attachment. Can anyone help?
 
I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Outlook Express. This
one's for questions about Access, the database product.
