Would someone please point me in the right direction? I am looking to
restrict a user login to two physical units. I know is doable, but being
dense I cant seem to see the setting.

Please Help.

If you're using a domain, you can do it through the Active Directory Users
and Computers utility. I'm pretty sure you're using a domain since with
workgroups you can control this with account creation on individual
computers.

right click the user name and pick properties
click on the Account tab
click the Log On To... button

It says to give a computer name, so I don't know if IP addresses will work.

I believe that uses NetBIOS not the physical address. We use only TCP/IP and
I did not want to add another protocol to the servers is There any other
way?

If your machines are windows 2000 and you are on a domain then you are using NetBIOS anyway it is just NetBIOS over TCP/IP. So since all of your machines are forced to have unige names on a domian just use their UNC name.

thank you
