Restricted Sharing Questions in XP-Pro

I'm trying to share a particular folder over the network,
but I want only certain users on the network to have
access to this folder. We're using XP-Pro on most of our
systems, and I am having trouble with figuring out some
of the file sharing setups.

Do I need to set up an account on the computer with the
files I want to share for each user that I want to give
remote access to?

We aren't using a domain, so how do I find the users on
the network that I want to grant access to?

Can I do this using just the FAT 32 file system? Or am I
going to have to switch over to NTFS? We're tyring to
stay with FAT32 because of some program compatibilities.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, if you aren't on a domain.

You need to create a local account.

Yes, you can set permission on the share, just not on the files themselves.
