I'm looking a way to restrict USB and CD/DVD-ROM devices in my
environment. We are using Windows XP workstations and Windows
2000/2003 domain controllers. I found an article for doing this
through group policy for Vista and Server
2008(http://www.microsoft.com/technet/windowsvista/library/9fe5bf05-a4a9-44e2-a0c3-b4b4eaaa37f3.mspx),
but not for what my company is running. Can anyone point me in the
right direction?

See
HOWTO: Use Group Policy to disable USB, CD-ROM, Floppy Disk and LS-120
drivers

Note that questions such as this are best posted in
microsoft.public.windows.group_policy.

You'll get a lot of help with questions such as this if you post in
