Restrict Remote Printing

I need to prevent remote users from printing to printers accross the
WAN. In other words, I would like confine printing to within each
LAN. I am in a multi-domain, multi-site W2K network. I need visitors
to be able to print when they travel to other sites on the network.
Any ideas how to accomplish this?

This kind of permissions issue would probably do MUCH better in the
active_directory area. Good luck! : )
- I am thinking in the area of scripting the addition of the user to a
"printer users" group, and including that script in a group policy applied
at the Site level

Thanks for your response Jason. The scripting solution you describe -
is the idea that a user is added to the "print users" group when they
log into a local workstation, then they are removed from the "print
users" group at logoff? That is something I had not thought of. I
will look at this further tomorrow.

Would you recommed I post my question in the AD area as well?

Sorry for the delay.
I think that the AD area would be able to give you what you need here. I
think that the scripting idea would work, but the syntax is beyond me :-)
