Restrict Application access for my kid

Hello

I have W2000 and FAT32 formatted drive

I want to restrict my (10 yr old) daughter from accessing certain
applications (MSN Messenger) at certain times. I thought of using
Permissions, but this only works with NTFS formatted disks. I don't
think I can convert FAT32 to NTFS on a current drive, or without
destroying the contents of my C drive.

Is there any way (or application I may use) to restrict access to
certain applications?

You can convert fat to ntfs as described in the KB link below. It usually works well,
but I recommend you back up any critical data including your user profile under
documents and settings to another hard drive or cdrom first just in case. --- Steve
