I have 3 computers on a home network - all are XP pro SP2. the are all in the
workgroup HOME and all have simple filesharing
On one pc I have enabled remote desktop connection to allow friends to
access a database (over the web) - they use a username (fest) which is in the
"remote desktop users" group ( set via userpasswords2)
But I don't want my friends to see the rest the shared files of my workgroup
I want this username (fest) to bascially have no access to shared files.
either on the local machine but more importantly not in the rest of the
workgroup,
- preferably by building a wall around the "fest" on the machine used for
remote desktop connection. ( rather than changing file permissions on every
computer in the network).
Ideas please - thanks in advance
