Help!
I changed the names of some files in my registry (it's a long story!) but
now my PC won't reboot. It just gets as far as the XP welcome screen then
shuts down, restarts, get to the welcome screen and so on over and over. I
did not get any recovery disks with the PC as it is all stored on the hard
drive so does anyone know how I can get the PC to boot up? I have tried
pressing F8 and have clicked on all the options but nothing happens. I looked
at downloading the set of six XP set up disks but it says I still need an XP
CD Rom at the end which I don't have. My PC is a HP Pavilion 453.UK. If I can
restore the PC without losing my files that would be great, but if I can't
then it's not the end of the world. Any adive would be appreciated.
Thanks
Karen
