I quarantined my Kazaa by mistake and when I try to restore it, spyware
actually doesnt show me the quarantined files it goes into a non-responsive
mode and i can't check it to restore.

Please help. It quarantined all my Kazaa files.

Thanks
David

someone mentioned restarting in safe mode - how do i do that? also how do i
do what u suggested (restoring data back-ups)?

pls help. lost all my files.
thnx

for some reason, my quarantine list just worked and didnt freeze and i was
able to unquarantine my kazaa files. i dont know what i did. i just waited
and it finally opened. maybe bc there were hundreds of files in there it
took awhile and i need to be patient. learnt my lesson for sure.

David--Bring the program to that quarantine screen and let it sit a good
long time--perhaps overnight. I have one post from a user here who states
that it took 6 hours in safe mode for the files to come up.

If you can get them back from quarantine--and I suspect you
will--immediately MOVE them to another location--one under My Documents,
perhaps, or wherever My Music is. Don't leave them in the original
location. Do this before your next reboot.

David;
Then do as Bill suggested and IMMEDIATELY store those files somewhere else,
in another folder.

Your data is back so you do not need to restore from your back-ups.
But you need to have a plan that includes back-ups of all important data.
That is something you need to set up, it is not done unless you do it.

how do i set up backups?
