I'm trying to restore my system to a previous date, which
I've done before. I accessed the option through XP's
Help and Support Center. When I go there now, it's
telling me the html cannot be displayed because of a java
problem. The page won't even display. It shows the
hourglass for about 3 sec. and then does nothing. I've
checked to see that java was enabled in IE, and it is.

Bottom line is that I need to restore the system. Is
there another way to get to the feature in XP?

There should be a link in Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools for
System Restore. If it is not there, copy the following path into the
Start/Run line:

C:\Windows\System32\Restore\rstrui.exe

And press OK to start the SR program.
