Hi

How can I restore the IE6 REG settings ?

When I do a Start - Run - "Http://www.microsoft.com" it returns with a
"This file does not have a program association with it for performing
this action. Create an association in the folder Options control
panel"

I've tried to uninstall/reinstall/fix the installation several times
and copied the Key: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\http] from a working pc, but
without any luck...

So how can I fix this.....?

Thanks

Tobias

1. Click [Start] [Run] type:
(Press Enter after each command)
Regsvr32 /i URLMON.DLL
Regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
Regsvr32 actxprxy.dll

2. Restart Windows
3. Open IE [Tools] [Internet Options] [Programs] [Reset Web Settings]

and

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs and enable the option:
"Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"
Close IE and open again. Click YES if you are prompted to set it as default
browser.
