I tried Tweak UI and changed all my default icons to crude low res. icons. I
uninstalled it from the system and now am stuck with the icons it created and
want to restore all the icons to original. When I try to change them using
the customize the folder option it simply won't change.
Any help would sure be appreciated.
Cheers!

Why'd you change the icons to 'crude low res. icons'?
Why'd you then uninstall TweakUI?
Why can you not install TweakUI again and undo it?

They appeared when I installed Tweak UI. I tried to remove them and restore
the icons with TweakUI to no avail so I thought that perhaps removing the
program would cure my problem. No such luck. I supose that it's not a big
deal, just butt ugly icons and no way to change them.

Tried downloading and installing the latest video card driver for your video
hardware directly from the video card manufacturer's web page?

Try the fix at line #4: Repairs the Icon View

To use the Regedits: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

See this.

Icons get corrupted after using Tweak UI "Rebuild Icons" function

BTW, uninstalling TweakUI did not remove any changes that you made with
TweakUI from the registry. By uninstalling TweakUI in order to change
anything back you will either have to make changes directly in the registry
or reinstall TweakUI and then make changes using TweakUI.
