restoring emails to server - PLEASE HELP

I have Outlook 2007 and have just added a new yahoo email account. I have a
lot of emails in there that i was saving - outlook downloaded them from the
server and deleted then so i can no longer see those emails in yahoo internet
site or iphone.

i then moved emails to another folder and deleted account and readded it
this time selected 'leave message on server'. i then put the emails back in
the inbox of that account and listed them as unread. have restarted computer
after each step just in case but they still wont show on server. i think any
new ones that come through but nothing more

please help

It think I understand what you are saying; however, I am not really sure.
From what I gather, you are moving the data around on your PC. Is that
correct? To have the data available on your web interface with Yahoo, you
will have to upload those e-mails to your account. That would be much easier
if Yahoo supported IMAP, which I believe it doesn't. Is there a specific
reason that you must have those documents available on a web interface?

I guess you could just 'redirect or resend', I am not sure what Outlook is
calling it these days, to your YaHoo account. That would probably work.

i use to have a few hotmail accounts and i could just move mail around back
and forth between them in windows live. and even if i went into through
hotmail.com they would be moved in the inbox there as well.
doesn't look like yahoo has that option - i like to keep them on the web and
not the computer cause if the computer busts i loose all my emails.
i ojnly changed to yahoo cause someone hacked into my account and sent
emails to everyone that i was in Malaysia and ins desperate need. so i axed
hotmail altogether.
is there anyone other way of saving them back onto a web account (possibly
someone other than yahoo and hotmail then?
 
thanks yet again...i moved a couple of emails to the yahoo inbox on outlook
and the folder moved but now its empty...why does it have to be so difficult
(hotmail was heaps compliant) now does anyone know where the emails have gone
:-(
 
What exactly did you do in order to try to restore it?
As said, you cannot do this via a POP3 account.
 
all i did was move a folder with emails in it from one email account to
another on outlook and the folder moved but not the emails in the
folder...does anyone know where they have gone?
 
yeah thanks DL i backup myself manually onto my external harddrive every
week...i am trying a system restore at the moment see how that goes...any
other suggestions?
