Can I recover files accidentally deleted from a CDR? If so, how?

Can I recover files accidentally deleted from a CDR? If so, how?

A search on google turns up some programs that say they can do this. I've
never tried any of them but here's a link to one of them:

Not possible to add OR remove anything from a CDR (Compact Disc Recordable), only with CDRW (Compact Disc Re-Writeable).

I wouldn't think so either but the product claims it can. If important data
is at risk, perhaps it would warrant giving the software a try? Quote from
that web page:
"Recovers unreadable and deleted files in CDs recorded by CD writing
software including Roxio Easy CD Creator and Ahead Nero. Full support for
CD-Rs and CD-RWs recorded with UDF software.."
