Please help. I deleted a favorite which was a special link to a site my
husband uses . Can I find it somewhere to restore it back on favorites link?

Checked the recycle bin yet, you should be able to restore it unless you
emptied the bin? Or, failing that, check history - if he's been there
recently he can click on it and re-add the link.

When a file is deleted it may still be in the 'Recycle bin'. You could use
the search facility in Windows Explorer to look for the file either by the
name of the file or word or phrase in the file. This will show whether the
file is available anywhere on the hard disk.

However, if the file has been deleted it may be still available. This is
because it is only a reference to the position of the file on the hard disk
that is deleted not the data itself. At this point the chances of recovery
decrease dramatically. As you use the computer there is a chance that some
or all of your file will be overwritten. You may like to use something like
Restoration, available free from -

If the other suggestions don't work, you can always check the 'history' to
see if the site is listed there. If it is, go to that site by clicking on
the link in history, then save it to your favorites again. I don't know
what browser you use, but they all are similar, or press the 'Ctrl key and
the H key, while your browser page is open..That will open your history.

OOOPs, sorry, I see you already said to try that...
