I have an application when opened I cannot find it. I can maximize it or
minimize. But I cannot restore it to a window I can see to resize or move
it.
Any help with this?
With this missing application window being the only thing with a button on
the taskbar, try a right click on the taskbar and choose Cascade Windows.
This should bring the window back into view and display it using default
window dimensions and position: a little more than 25% of the screen and in
the upper left hand corner of the desktop.
Alternatively, you could try a right click on the taskbar button and select
Move. This passes control from the mouse to the keyboard. Use the arrow
keys to move left, right, up and down. Unfortunately, without knowing
*where* the window is hiding, this method could take a while (and a lot of
guessing) before you get any part of the window moved into your viewing
area.
