restore to earlier date

am away at school in a private residence and do not have
my system restoration disks with me. How can I push my
operating system back a week or so ago so that I can use
my internet hookup. I have broadband, but can only hook
up thru phone line. Figured that if I reset back a few
days to when broadband was still recognized, I could
continue its use. How do I get back without any disks?

You would have to install Windows XP or Windows ME to gain that ability.
